 ​Who is the best CEO in the world?

The CEOWORLD magazine has revealed its annual list of the most influential chief executive officers (CEOs) and business executives in the world. Unsurprisingly, Tim Cook (Apple) came first in the CEOWORLD magazine’s global ranking of the world’s best chief executives across all industries for 2022. He is followed by Satya Nadella, chief executive officer of Microsoft Corp. and CEO Sundar Pichai of Alphabet (Google). The 2022 rankings placed Amazon CEO Andy Jassy in 4th spot ahead of Tesla’s Elon Musk into 5th, and Meta (Facebook) founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg ranked sixth. How they achieved it?


1.Tim cook:

Tim Cook is the CEO of Apple and serves on its board of directors.  Before being named CEO in August 2011, Tim was Apple’s chief operating officer and was responsible for all of the company’s worldwide sales and operations, including end-to-end management of Apple’s supply chain, sales activities, and service and support in all markets and countries. He also headed Apple’s Macintosh division and played a key role in the continued development of strategic reseller and supplier relationships, ensuring flexibility in response to an increasingly demanding marketplace.


2.Satya Nadella:


Satya Narayana Nadella is an Indian-American business executive. He is the executive chairman and CEO of Microsoft, succeeding Steve Ballmer in 2014 as CEO and John W. Thompson in 2021 as chairman.Satya Nadella took over the reins of Microsoft on February 4, 2014, as CEO after Steve Ballmer decided to step down. The decision to appoint Nadella was taken by Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft and Ballmer. Nadella was successful in leading the firm out of its difficult times.


3.Sundar Pichai:


Pichai led the product management and innovation efforts for a suite of Google's client software products such as Chrome and Chrome OS. He was also largely responsible for Google Drive. He went on to oversee tons of new products including Gmail and Google Maps. These type of ideas and strategies helped him get into thew position of CEO of google.


4.Andy Jassy:



Jassy founded and led Amazon Web Services (AWS) from its inception and served as its CEO from April 2016 until July 2021.In May, Bezos had announced that Jassy will take over as the CEO of the e-commerce giant on July 5.Jassy joined Amazon in 1997 and, prior to founding AWS, held various leadership roles across the company, including both business-to-business and business-to-consumer.

5.Elon Musk:



Musk assumed leadership of the company as CEO and product architect in 2008. A 2009 lawsuit settlement with Eberhard designated Musk as a Tesla co-founder, along with Tarpenning and two others. As of 2019, Musk was the longest-tenured CEO of any automotive manufacturer globally.
