Which is better, Job or Skill development ?

"What job are you doing", "Are you placed", " Our Neighbour's kid has been placed in a top reputed company with a good package, you are still jobless, spending our hard earned money "

Every graduated, jobless person has heared atleast one of the above statements or dialogues from their parents or relatives.

Nowadays, there is job everywhere around the world for every job type. Also , it is available for every skill. 

Where the problem arrives :

 From my point of observation (may vary with others), the problem arrives when you are desparately in need for a job. This causes you to do/apply any type of job irrevelant of the job type or the skills required.

Nowadays, the posting of jobs comes along with the specifications or required skills of the role which you are going to apply for. My important tip would be to go through every single detail of the skills required for the job. If not, this is going to affect you and the company/organization as well as you lack the skills for the job.

What should you focus :

 

For your growth and as well as to gain knowledge so that you can perform good in your job, you must apply for a job that is relevant to your skills rather than "just" applying for an irrelevant job.

How to improve skills:

 

Here comes the main part, where to learn skills and how to develop them.

Nowadays, major IT companies are coming forth to provide free courses for anyone to develop their skills.

Companies like Google, Tata Consultancy Services, Adobe, etc are providing such courses for free in order for graduates and students to develop their skills.

You can check on the internet for them. Some of the courses are completely free

Finally , when applying for a job, look carefully for the skills required and apply for it.

This is one way to get a good job for your skills where it can be put to use.
